Aruba. Tiny island. Big personality.

I was born in Aruba and still have family there, which means I get to visit often. And see more than the postcard beaches (though they really are some of the best).

There’s more to the island than just sun and sand. Colonial history, carnival season, and proper seafood. And that dry desert-meets-Caribbean landscape that catches people off guard.

Each trip still throws up something new. Below are posts with the spots, stories and local tips I think are actually worth knowing.
